Key Stage One Full Time Teacher

Required for September 2025 until 31st August 2026 – fixed-term due to pupil numbers

Due to an increase in pupil numbers, and the expansion of the school’s provision, the governors of St. Patrick’s Catholic Primary School wish to appoint a qualified teacher with experience of Key Stage 1 who has a passion for children’s learning. The successful candidate will need to demonstrate their commitment to working as part of a highly successful team. They will deliver the vision of our school and facilitate all children reaching their full potential.

We are looking for an effective teacher with commitment and enthusiasm, that:
•    Is a practising Catholic or supportive of our Catholic ethos
•    Puts children at the heart of everything they do
•    Is an excellent practitioner
•    Has an innovative, creative and effective teaching approach
•    Is an inclusive practitioner with high expectations for all pupils
•    Has experience of teaching in Key Stage 1
•    Is well organised and highly motivated.
•    Leads by example with integrity, positivity and resilience.
•    Has excellent interpersonal and communication skills and enjoys working in a team.
•    Can support curriculum development of a subject across the school.

St. Patrick’s Catholic Primary School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. The successful applicant will be required to obtain an Enhanced Certificate of Disclosure from the DBS. Please note that in all cases written references will be taken up and made available to interviewers before the final selection stage.
