Report a change of circumstances if you have a bus pass

If you have moved, changed your name or if a bus pass owner has passed away, you can let us know.

Contact us by telephone or email, if you have:

  • moved within the county of Cumbria
  • moved out of the county of Cumbria
  • changed your name

Provide proof of address in you're moving into the county

If you have moved within the county and you are emailing us, you'll need to provide proof of address, a scan or digital photo of:

  • Council Tax bill
  • utility bill dated within the last three months
  • rent book or statement
  • bank statement dated within the last three months
  • Department of Work and Pensions (DWP) letter

If you've changed your name

You can continue to use your bus pass until it expires then provide evidence of your new name when you renew your card.

If you want to change your name on the card before the next renewal date then let us know.

You'll need to provide proof of change of name:

  • deed poll
  • marriage certificate

Bus pass holder has passed away

Please return their bus pass by post, with a letter saying that they have passed away, to FREEPOST NOWCARD.
