Charges apply Monday to Sunday from 8.30am to 6pm.

Access to this car park is available between the hours of 6.30am and 11pm. No maximum stay.

Please note: To coincide with Carlisle's late-night shopping on Thursday 28 November, Thursday 5 December, Thursday 12 December and Thursday 19 December, the barriers in this car park will remain open until 11.30pm.

Charges per hour:

• Up to 1 hour costs £1.50
• 1 to 2 hours costs £2.50
• 2 to 3 hours costs £3.10
• 3 to 4 hours costs £3.70
• 4 to 9.5 hours costs £4.70

Blue Badge holders

Maximum three hours free when displaying a valid blue badge and clock disc. Pay and display charges apply for stays over three hours.

Motorcycles

Free in designated motorcycle bays only otherwise pay and display charges apply.

Check in, check out’ scheme

This scheme provides customers with the ability to pay for parking per minute by using a debit or a credit card on arrival to ‘check-in’ and again on departure, to ‘check out’.

The system will then automatically charge for the time used, per minute. The new initiative provides more flexibility for customers who may want to stay longer in the city centre without the need to rush back when their parking ticket expires
