Cargo active travel route – proposed speed limits – statutory consultation and advertisement

The reduction in speed limit is being put forward to support the introduction of a new cycleway stretching from Cargo to Carlisle's Northern Bypass. The initiative, a vital component of Carlisle’s Local Cycling and Walking Infrastructure Plan (LCWIP), not only addresses safety concerns but also promises to enhance active travel between Cargo and Kingmoor.
