Please note that the following temporary treatment changes due to the roadworks associated with the new Carlisle Southern Link Road.

The B5299 is closed south of Peter Lane – the B5299 is not currently being treated for approximately 1000 metres between Lingyclose Road and Peter Lane. 

The C1036 is closed south of Durdar Crossroads (The Black Lion) – the C1036 is not currently being treated for approximately 850 metres between Durdar Crossroads and Durdar House at Junction with U1156.


All signed diversion routes for both of these closures will also be treated during the period of the above closures.

Forecast: Bright spells and showers this afternoon. Dry with clear spells for much of the night. However, rain moving in towards dawn. RSTs above zero. Further rain - some heavy - tomorrow morning.
