Have your say on the proposed homelessness prevention and rough sleeping strategy

We are inviting comment on the proposed Cumberland Homelessness Prevention and Rough Sleeping Strategy. 

We want to improve the delivery and effectiveness of our advice and support directly, and with our partners. We are engaging with stakeholders and all residents to ensure that the policy reflects the needs of people in Cumberland. 

The strategy builds on existing successes and partnerships to make homelessness not happen again, rare, and short term, and includes pathways to a range of suitable housing with high quality, flexible person-centred support.

We want to hear your views on the proposals and work together to address homelessness in Cumberland. Your feedback will inform the final strategy and actions of the Homelessness Prevention and Rough Sleeping Strategy 2025 to 2030 to go to the Council Executive in early 2025.
