General rubbish bins
We provide a refuse service from residential properties. This waste is usually collected in a 120 litre black bin, but you may have another type depending on the area you live in.
What you can put in your general waste:
- non recyclable films and plastics
- tetra packs (they can't be recycled via our kerbside recycling service)
- fish and meat bones
- disposable nappies
- pet waste, hair and bedding
- food waste you don't compost
- bagged cool ashes and vacuum dust
- tea and coffee grounds
What you cannot put in your bin:
- rubble and building materials
- electrical goods
- hazardous waste
- empty or leftover paint tins
- batteries and vapes
- plastic cans and glass
- garden waste
- paper and cardboard
