Scrap metal licence
All businesses that buy and sell scrap metal must have a scrap metal dealer licence issued by us.
You must hold either a site or mobile collector’s licence, issued by the council, if you are a scrap metal dealer in England and Wales.
It is an offence to carry on a business as a scrap metal dealer without having a licence.
