Report a concern about a child
If you are worried or have concerns that a child or young person is being neglected, harmed, or may need support, there are several ways we can help.
If you are concerned that a child or young person is in an emergency situation you should contact the police urgently on 999.
If you are a member of the public with a concern about a child contact the Cumberland Safeguarding Hub.

If you are a professional with a serious concern about a child or young person
If a child or young person that needs immediate protection contact the Cumberland Safeguarding Hub through single contact form.
Where immediate protection is not required you will be expected to complete a single contact form, informed by an Early Help Assessment where possible, in the first instance.
