Safer employment and criminal convictions procedure

The council is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and vulnerable adults and expects all employees, volunteers and the Externally Provided Workforce (EPWs) to share this commitment.

The safer employment procedure covers safeguarding arrangements during an individual's recruitment and employment and all employees should familiarise themselves with safer employment practice.
