Cumberland Music Service

The Cumberland Music Service is a team of specialist music teachers providing schools and pupils with a wide range of musical experiences based upon modern teaching strategies.

Cumberland Music Service is a Traded Service within Cumberland Council.  The team of specialist music teachers provides schools and pupils with a wide range of musical experiences based upon modern teaching strategies.

Working in partnership with educational settings we aim to enable all children to experience and create music.

Working alongside our young people we provide an environment of inclusion and space for young people to discover their interests. By celebrating and embracing the backgrounds, heritage, language and traditions of all children we can broaden horizons and nurture children to develop their confidence, so that they can make informed decisions about the music and culture they consume and participate in and articulate why it has value to them.
