Early career framework for teachers
Every Early Career Teacher (ECT) is entitled to a structured programme of support and development based on the Early Career Framework (ECF).
The One Cumbria Teaching School Hub delivers the Teach First Full Induction Programme to schools across the county.
Working together we:
- provide a sequenced two-year development programme, with funded training delivered direct to ECTs
- provide self-directed study material for all ECTs
- provide funded training direct to mentors, including materials to support mentor sessions that will reduce mentor workload
- deliver networking events and bespoke support and solutions for small and rural schools.
- provide effective communication from our team – we understand our schools and Cumbrian contexts
- deliver enhanced provision added to the Teach First programme from colleagues that represent the range of educational institutions in our county
