Music Services offer a cost effective Instrument Hire Scheme. This is available to every school-aged student studying in Cumbria. This helps young people to get started playing an instrument without the cost of buying their own.
All our instruments are well maintained and ready to play and they are conveniently delivered direct to your school.

The cost is £35 for an initial three month trial.
Reduced instrument lease fees
We offer significantly reduced instrument lease fees if your child is receiving free school meals or if you are in receipt of:
- Universal Credit
- Income Support
- Income-based Jobseeker’s Allowance
- Income-related Employment and Support Allowance
- Support under Part VI of the Immigration and Asylum Act 1999
- The guaranteed element of Pension Credit
- Child Tax Credit (provided you are not also entitled to Working Tax Credit )
- Working Tax Credit run-on – paid 4 weeks after you stop qualifying for Working Tax Credit (Universal Credit)
You don't qualify for any reduced fees if you receive any working tax credit.
