Get involved with Maryport transformation

Everyone is welcome to have their say in two projects which are part of the regeneration of Maryport. Cumberland Council is asking the public to vote on a new name for the Wave centre, which is about to undergo major refurbishment, colours for new public realm signage, and a new emblem depicting Maryport which will be used on that signage.

A ‘Fresh Start’ for young people facing homelessness in Cumberland

Cumberland Council is pleased to announce the launch of a new initiative called “Fresh Start”, aimed at providing essential cleaning products to young people aged 16–24 with lived experience of homelessness transitioning to independent living as they move into a new property.
