About this opportunity
We are looking to recruit Gardeners to join our Grounds Maintenance Team.
The right candidate must be hard-working and committed to working to the highest standards. Helping to keep Council parks, cemeteries, and open spaces; safe, clean, and well maintained.
You must be able to work well in a team as well as on your own. You must have flexibility in a fast-paced working environment and the ability to deal with multiple demands.
The work will involve many aspects of maintenance including maintaining floral displays, sports pitch maintenance, hedge cutting, grass cutting litter picking, park bin emptying. You will be required to use a wide range of tools and machinery including mowers, hedge cutters and strimmer’s. Previous experience would be an advantage, but training will be provided.
Full UK Driving Licence is essential.
