The successful candidate will:
• Be an outstanding practitioner
• Have a clear understanding of the characteristics of high quality teaching and proven experience of teaching across the whole age and ability range
• Be able to demonstrate their commitment to our students
• Motivate both colleagues and students to work hard and try their best through passing on to them their infectious enthusiasm and passion
• Actively share good practice and seek to explore ways to improve their own and others’ teaching

Previous experience is desirable however full training will be provided for the right candidate.

Midday Supervisor

Mayfield School at Campus Whitehaven is looking to appoint, as soon as possible, a Midday Supervisor to join our excellent team and provide lunch time cover for a total of 7.5 hours per week, term time.

PCD 3 Salary: £23,151 FTE per annum pro rata , (this includes the Living Wage Supplement). Hourly rate £12 working 38 weeks Term Time.

The main responsibilities of the role are:
•    supervise children whilst they are eating
•    ensure safe supervision indoors and outdoors
•    a commitment to teamwork
•    effective communication skills
•    a willingness to update knowledge and skills through further training

Working hours will be 10 hours per week between 3.30 pm and 5.30 pm, Monday to Friday (term time only).

Thwaites School is seeking to appoint an After School Club Assistant for our thriving after school provision.  We are looking for someone who is energetic, passionate and enthusiastic to join our friendly, motivated and supportive team.

We are looking for an outstanding practitioner who:
•    Has a passion for working with children.
•    Is able to lead the day to day organisation of the After School Club.
•    Is able to create a safe, welcoming and friendly environment delivering high quality creative play opportunities embracing each child’s individual needs, unique qualities and personalities.
•    Is able to liaise with the school with regard to the needs of the children who attend the After School Club.
•    Is able to provide care, play opportunities and activities in a homely and nurturing environment, with regard to the individual development needs of the children and age ranges of children.
•    Fully supports inclusive practice and ensure that all children can be involved in the activities offered if they wish.
•    Is able to consult and liaise with the children and involve them in the planning of activities.

Qualifications required:  NVQ Level 2
