The Governors of Black Combe School wish to appoint an experienced senior teaching assistant to join our established learning support team.  We are looking for someone committed to improving the outcomes for pupils by providing high quality support to our
learning environment. It is expected the successful candidate will be keen to embrace new challenges in supporting teaching and learning within the classroom and will take a full part in school life.

The successful candidate must be a highly motivated and dedicated practitioner who will attend to pupils’ individual needs and, under the direction of the teacher, deliver structured learning activity programmes in addition to providing support in the classroom in the absence of the teacher. You will be required to have the ability to use your own initiative when responding to the needs of individual pupils and to have excellent interpersonal skills.

Tuesday  8:45 to 12:15 - 13:00 to 15:30    

Thursday 8:45 to 12:15  -13:00 to 15:30

Friday 8:45 to 12:15 - 13:00 to 15:30

Breakfast/Midday/Afterschool Club Supervisor

Breakfast/Midday/Afterschool Club Supervisor

The Governors are looking to appoint an enthusiastic individual to work across our breakfast, midday and after school club sessions, starting as soon as possible.

After school club supervisor – 3:00pm – 06:15pm (3hours 15 minutes)

The successful candidates will be responsible for:
•    the care, behaviour management and welfare of students

•    effective communication with class teachers
At Breakfast club and after school club:
•    Signing children in and out
•    Verbal handover with parents
•    Preparation of a simple breakfast or snack
