A significant rock fall caused by the impact of Storm Ashley has resulted in an emergency road closure on West Road, Thirlmere, between Launchy Gill and Rough Crag.

Cumberland Council is inviting parents, carers, schools, and any interested resident or organisation to share their views in a public consultation on its proposed Home to School Travel Policy.
