Key Stage 1 Teacher Full Time Fixed Term 1 year initially due to pupil numbers.

For 1st September 2024 the Governing Body is looking for a qualified, outstanding and inspirational teacher to join our supportive and experienced staff team. Newly qualified, recently qualified teachers are welcome to apply.

Following the resignation of a long standing member of staff, we have an exciting opportunity for a passionate, enthusiastic and professional Primary School teacher to join our wonderful team here at Dearham Primary School, for the summer term. This role will involve three days teaching a fantastic Year 5 class, as well as an additional day of PPA cover, working closely with colleagues to ensure continuity and progression for our pupils.

Having joined the school as the Headteacher, at the beginning of January, I have been overwhelmed by the welcome and kindness of all members of the Dearham Primary School community. Our children embody the school ethos, are motivated to do their best and demonstrate excellent standards of behaviour. It truly is a wonderful place to work and I hope that you will be interested in joining our team. Visits to the school are welcomed and can be arranged for the week beginning 19th February so that you can come and see for yourself.  I look forward to hearing from you.

Operations Manager

Hours of work: 37 hours per week
Monday to Friday all year round – Full time 

Responsible for the day-to-day management of West Lakes Academy operational support, including the management of non-centralised finance, IT and HR functions, school administration, catering, and estate management; ensuring staff conform to any central Trust policies and procedures and systems as directed by the Chief Operations Officer.

The successful candidate will:
•    Provide a highly professional operational service
•    Be responsible for financial resource management, operational management, information management, IT, human resources, facility and property management, and health and safety management across the West Lakes Academy
Previous experience is desirable however full training will be provided for the right candidate.
