Deputy Head of Lairthwaite Boarding House and DDSL

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and approachable Deputy Head of Boarding House and DDSL.

Permanent, part-time 
Average 21 hour per week post

Salary £29,777 - £30,825 pro-rata term-time only (NJC scale point 19–21) plus free lodging and utilities in a self-contained 2 bedroom flat (two meals per day during term-time)

Teaching Assistant

Frizington Nursery School & Preschool are looking to employ a Level 3 Teaching Assistant 
who is friendly, enthusiastic and passionate about working with children in the Early Years Foundation Stage. This post will require you to work across both our 
Preschool and Nursery School classrooms and will commence on Monday 15th April. 
2024. 

Term Time, 30 hours per week. However we will consider applications for part-time hours 16+. 

Initially this is a fixed term contract for 1 academic year April 2024 - April 2025 due to pupil numbers,  however there is a possibility this could be extended. 

The suitable candidate must have:
•    NVQ Level 3 or equivalent (or working towards Level 3) 
•    GCSE (or equivalent) Maths and English


The successful candidate must also be able to:
•Work constructively as part of a team
•Liaise effectively with staff and parents
•Promote inclusion of all pupils within the Early Years classrooms
•Show initiative and hold high expectations for pupils
•Display a professional attitude at all times and desire to continue their professional development
•Demonstrate their experience of working in the Early Years Foundation Stage
