The Governors are seeking to employ a caring and committed Senior Teaching Assistant. 

The purpose of the role is to:
•    To work under the direction of senior staff and teaching staff to support the delivery of quality learning and teaching of pupils with SEN within a resourced provision unit. 
•    To work alongside existing staff members, in our ever increasing breakfast club provision, to provide childcare to our pupils from 7:30am until the start of the school day.
•    To assist the class teacher and other staff in carrying out planned activities to meet the needs of the pupil, making necessary adjustments.
•    To support the pupil 1:1 and within groups/class setting 
•    To encourage the pupil’s participation and enable the pupil to become more independent.
•    To understand the pupil’s learning needs and provide regular feedback so that decisions can be made about next steps for the teaching of the child.
•    To care for the safety and well-being of the child.
•    To liaise effectively with all staff in school, including specialist professionals.

·      Take responsibility for the pupils’ welfare, safety and supervision during the lunch break.
