Ashfield Junior School are looking to appoint a Senior Teaching Assistant to work both within the classroom, support pupils who may be finding it challenging to access the school day, lead small group interventions and support in our ASC Resourced Provision.

We are looking for someone with the following skills and qualities:

• Enjoys working with children
• Can use own initiative when supporting pupils
•  Is confident to deliver small group interventions and catch ups when required
•  Is nurturing, caring and patient
•  Has a willingness to access training
•  Can work alongside colleagues and has a good sense of humour

Kitchen Assistant

A vacancy has arisen in our busy kitchen for a kitchen assistant to help prepare and serve pupils at lunchtime.  Duties will include food preparation and service, washing up and general cleaning of the kitchen and dining room.

10 hours each week (term time only)

Experience not necessary as full training will be given.
Uniform will be provided by the school.
